More about this Book

In 1955, Santa moved into Santa’s Village, his new summer home at Bracebridge, Muskoka—halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. Since then, millions of children and former children have enjoyed the magic of this special place nestled in the pine woods by the Muskoka River. This book commemorates the first 50 years of Santa’s Village in stories and pictures compiled by one of Santa’s first elves.

Author Information

Diane Rimstead was one of Santa’s elves at the opening of the Village in 1955. She has worked in corporate communications for IBM and the Ontario Ministry of Health, and occasionally writes freelance articles for the Muskoka Sun.
